The 10th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is currently taking place between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. The visitors won the toss and decided to bat first.
However, their decision to bat first didn’t pay off as they have struggled to get going. They lost Mayank Agarwal in the first over for 8 runs. After that, it was a mini partnership between Anmolpreet Singh and Rahul Tripathi. After the wicket of the Punjab batter, it was expected that skipper Aiden Markram would do something special on his captaincy debut.
But that wasn’t the case as he bagged a golden duck in his first match for SRH. The batter looked clueless against the spinning ball of Krunal Pandya, who shattered his stumps. It was during the last ball of the 8th over when skipper Markram got a peach from senior Pandya.
Pandya bowled a tossed-up delivery that spun and went on to rattle the off stick. The batter didn’t cover the line and looked to drive. The ball turned past the willow and turned enough to crash into the off-stump.
