Things are getting intense for the final of the ICC World Test Championship 2023. The summit clash is expected to take place from June 7 to 11 at the Oval and with just a few series left in the cycle, we are still unsure of who will be the two teams that will play the summit clash. Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka and India are in contention and it remains to be seen who will be the two teams to play the final in June this year.

Qualification scenario for Team India for World Test Championship Final after a 2-0 series win over Bangladesh

Indian Cricket Team is leaving no stone unturned to make their case strong to play the final of the World Test Championship. Their thumping 188 runs in Chattogram and 3-wicket win in Dhaka over Bangladesh in the two Tests have taken them one more step closer to the final of the World Test Championship.

They were placed fourth on the points table of WTC 2023 with 6 wins from 12 games and had 52 points to their name with 52.08% ahead of the series win against Bangladesh. But two staggering wins in the away series have taken them to the second sport with 58.93% with 8 wins from 14 games to go with four losses and two draws as well.

Their qualification is now very much in their hands as they 4 matches left and all they need to do is win 3 out of them. They have a series coming against Australia and if they win they are through. After whitewashing 2-0 Bangladesh they now need to beat Australia by 4-0 or 3-1 or 3-0. If they manage to achieve the feat they will be through and will most likely face Australia, who thumped South Africa in the first Test
