Usually, during the Indian Premier League, most Indians will be busy in the T20 format. At least, some players would refrain from other assignments because they could still get a chance as a replacement player. However, in recent years, franchises have shown their idea on how they pick players. Hence, for some cricketers, a chance in the IPL is almost impossible. Hence, they go abroad for different assignments. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three Indians who are currently playing in the County Championship 2024.

1) Karun Nair – Northamptonshire

Karun Nair was in the County last year, as well. He did well, came back to the Ranji Trophy for Vidharba and helped the team reach the finals. Now, again in the County, Karun is doing well. He recently scored a double hundred, as well.

All is not over for Karun. He has the age to make a comeback. There are some overseas tours for India in the coming years. Surely, if he keeps doing well, the selectors would think about him for the Indian Team.

2) Cheteshwar Pujara – Sussex

Cheteshwar Pujara is one of the Indians who are currently playing in the County Championship 2024. Pujara is now a regular in the County.

This time around, though, Pujara will look to do better. He is dropped from the Indian setup at the moment. That said, if he breaks the doors open again, a No.3 role could be back in the reckoning for the veteran Indian cricketer.

3) Yadvinder Singh – Worcestershire

It is interesting to note that Yadvinder Singh is yet to play any form of professional cricket. From the South Asian Cricket Academy, he is yet to get his British Passport and hence, he will play as an overseas player this season.

Born in Rajasthan, therefore, Yadvinder will be an Indian player in the league. He is a right-arm pacer and is known to have good potential.
