Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has made a bold prediction ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022. He feels that if the Rohit Sharma-led side can defeat Pakistan in their opening game of the tournament, they can go on to win the event.
If India win the opening game against Pakistan then I think they can win the World Cup – says Suresh Raina
Indian Cricket Team are currently in Australia, preparing for the T20 World Cup 2022. They arrived early in the country and it’s fair to say that they looked prepared because they had good quality net sessions and also played two additional practice games.
They recently defeat Australia in the warmup game and will next lock horns against New Zealand in the practice game on 19th November in Gabba. The Rohit Sharma-led side has a pretty balanced squad and they will be heading into the tournament with great confidence.

Suresh Raina while speaking to NDTV talked about the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022. He said that if India manages to win against Pakistan, they can also win the tournament.
“If India win the opening game against Pakistan then I think they can win the World Cup,” he said.
