CSK is not in great form at the moment. It also appears that the management has realized the mistakes made at the auction. In this regard, as per reports, the team is planning for some replacement signings. It is not clear who has been injured in the squad. Nevertheless, to find the right profile for the outfit, some trials have been ongoing. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of two players who reportedly attended CSK’s mid-season trials in IPL 2025.
1) Ayush Mhatre
As per reports, the highly talented youngster from Mumbai attended pre-auction trials for many teams. However, he was not picked by any squad. Touted to be a future superstar, it seems CSK has an eye on him.
A quality top-order cricketer, he impressed everyone at the last U19 World Cup. CSK needs some firepower at the top, and Ayush could be a fine option for the side.
2) Salman Nizar reportedly attended CSK’s mid-season trials
Salman Nizar is one of the players who reportedly attended CSK’s mid-season trials in IPL 2025. He is a stylish middle-order batter from Kerala.
In recent months, he has been in good form for Kerala. A good hitter, he would be an asset to the side for CSK.
