England cricket team absolutely had a spectacular day at the office as they wouldn’t forget what they accomplished on Day 1 of the first Test match against the Pakistan cricket team in Rawalpindi.

From Pakistan’s point of view, they failed to prepare a Test match pitch and they ended up paying a massive price as the bowlers were absolutely belted by the English batters all over the park with such ease.

Well, Test cricket is supposed to be thrilling and intriguing but the way the game progressed was something that literally nobody expected to be in the first place. The game very much seemed to be like an ODI format.

The English batters scored runs at the rate of knots as the visitors scored close to seven runs an over. As a result, they were able to post a massive total on the board on the first day’s play.

England cricket team scripted history as they became the first team to score a massive total of 506/4 in 75 overs on Day 1 of the Test match. It was a visual treat for the England fans as they totally enjoyed watching their players score a chunk of runs for the team.

Four different batters scored a century apiece. Zak Crawley top-scored with 122 whereas the likes of Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope scored 107 and 108 runs respectively.

Joe Root had a rare failure as he scored 23 runs but Harry Brook scored runs at the rate of knots by chipping in with an unbeaten 101 off 81 balls with the help of 14 fours and 2 sixes.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s head coach Saqlain Mushtaq has reacted to England’s humongous total on Day 1 of the first Test. Talking about the same, he said that it was an exciting day from the visitors’ point of view and that the people enjoyed the game a lot.
