Former Australian cricketer Mark Waugh made the headlines after he chipped in with an apt reply to Michael Vaughan’s take on the best Test team in the world.
It all started when the former England captain Michael Vaughan took to his official Twitter handle and then posted a tweet about England. He said that the best Test team in the world to watch is “England”.
His tweet went viral in no time on social media. Fans also came up with interesting reactions to the post. The majority of them didn’t agree with the opinion by adding that India are the best Test team to watch.

Meanwhile, former Australian cricketer, Mark Waugh reacted to Vaughan’s tweet with a savage reply. Waugh added that England are definitely in the top 3 behind Australia and India.
England are currently in New Zealand playing the first Test at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui. Ben Stokes and Co declared the innings at 325/9. Harry Brook was the pick of the batters as he scored 89 off 81 balls including 15 fours and a six.
Ben Duckett also batted really well as he scored 84 off 68 balls with the help of 14 boundaries. On the other side of the coin, Neil Wagner bowled really well and reaped rewards as he took four wickets to his name.
New Zealand scored 37/3 and are still trailing by 288 runs as the first day’s play came to a close. On the other hand, Team India won the first Test by an innings and 132 runs against the Australian cricket team.
Australia still have a lot of catching up to do to compete with India in the sub-continent conditions. It remains to be seen how they will go about their business in the second Test against India which is scheduled to be played on February 17, Friday at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
