Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu wicketkeeper-batsman Narayan Jagadeesan has been making waves in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022 tournament where he let his bat do the talking in the last three games.

However, CSK released the cricketer from their set-up ahead of the auction. The yellow army purchased him for his base price of INR 2 lakh at the IPL 2022 mega auction in Bengaluru.

Nonetheless, he didn’t get enough opportunities to play for the franchise. He represented CSK in only two games wherein he scored 40 runs to his name. CSK decided to let go of the 26-year-old wicketkeeper batsman.

Now, he has made a tremendous impact with the bat, smashing three centuries in the last three games of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He scored an unbeaten 114* off 112 balls against Andhra Pradesh as he guided Tamil Nadu to a 9-wicket win.
