‘Against Eng Z Team everything is possible’-Twitter reacts as Shahnawaz Dahani dismisses Alex Hales and Dawid Malan in successive deliveries

Pakistan are locking horns with the England cricket team in the second of the seven-match T20I series. Earlier, England drew first blood in the series by beating Pakistan by 6 wickets at National Stadium, Karachi.

The Green Shirts lost three games on the trot in the shortest format of the game. Earlier, they lost to Sri Lanka in the back-to-back games of the Asia Cup. After that, they lost to England cricket team in the T20I opener in Karachi.

Meanwhile, the second T20I is being held at the same stadium. England’s interim captain Moeen Ali won the toss and elected to bat first. The Three Lions got off to a blistering start to the game, thanks to Philip Salt and Alex Hales.

Dahani on fire

The duo added 46-run stand for the opening wicket before Shahnawaz Dahani provided a crucial breakthrough and stopped England from taking the attack to the cleaners. He took two wickets in two balls and stunned England with his bowling.

Pakistan’s Shahnawaz Dahani made a complete mess of the stumps to get rid of Alex Hales for 26 off 21 balls. Hales made his way back to the dressing room after hitting 3 boundaries and a six.

Meanwhile, Dawid Malan, the newcomer at the crease got the same treatment from Dahani as the latter once again ripped through the defense of the batsman and crashed his stumps.

Malan departed for a golden duck and Dahani who bowled two overs so far, conceded 14 runs at an economy rate of 7. However, he managed to disturb England’s top-order by taking 2 wickets.
