Pakistan captain Babar Azam was not a happy man, especially after the way his team surrendered at the hands of the England cricket team in the first Test match at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi recently.
The hosts came under fire for preparing a poor-quality Test wicket and since the wicket was really flat, England batters made use of the conditions properly and piled up runs when it mattered the most.
England went on to win the game by 74 runs and drew first blood in the three-match Test series and they just need one more win to clinch the series. The Three Lions scripted one of the greatest away Test wins.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam top-scored for the hosts with 136 where he composed his innings with the help of nineteen boundaries and a six. However, during the second innings, he failed to up the ante as he was dismissed cheaply.
England’s paceman Ollie Robinson got the prized wicket of Babar Azam in the second innings as the captain departed for 4 runs. Robinson bowled a short-pitched ball which angled in around off as the Pakistan captain tried to hit the ball in the first place.
As it turned out, the Pakistan captain failed to implement the plans and got a thick inside edge as the ball travelled behind the stumps as Ollie Pope took a catch in his safe pair of gloves. Pakistan captain Babar Azam made his way back to the dressing room after scoring 4 off 5 balls.
After the game, Babar Azam was asked by one of the reporters about the mode of dismissal. The reporter asked Babar Azam, whether he misjudged that ball, given that he is a big batter and that he got dismissed in that ball.
Meanwhile, the skipper smiled and confessed the mistake and said that one gets paid the price when playing the wrong shot.
