David Warner was standing near the batters, and when Ali lost his stumps to Nathan Lyon, he celebrated in his style. Soon after, David Warner was spotted mimicking Shaheen Shah Afridi’s celebration style as well.

Commenting on the historic ICC World Test Championship series victory against the Pakistan cricket team, Australian cricket team captain Pat Cummins said:

“I think in the first innings the way we batted and put ourselves ahead of the game was fantastic. It was kind of weird, the trend of the game was to toil hard for the first couple of wickets and when it started to reverse after 40 odd overs then it would be a bowler’s game.”

David Warner built a good friendship with Shaheen Afridi during the Pakistan tour

David Warner and Shaheen Afridi became close friends during the recently-concluded ICC World Test Championship series. They had light-hearted face-offs, and in the final innings of the series, Warner mimicked Afridi’s celebration style.
