England defeated Pakistan in the summit clash of the 2022 T20 World Cup. The Pakistan fans were too excited about the game but unfortunately had to taste the defeat on Sunday. On that note, here, we take a look as Mohammed Shami replies to Shoaib Akhtar after Pakistan loses to England in the T20 World Cup finals.
Pakistan loses to England in the T20 World Cup finals
Pakistan has been in great form in the last few days. While they first defeated South Africa, they then had an easy victory over New Zealand. Babar Azam and Mohammed Rizwan were back to form and Shaheen Afridi was looking in good fitness. Hence, there were expectations that they would have a great chance to win the 2022 T20 World Cup.
England, though, had other ideas. First, they restricted Pakistan to just 137 runs in the finals. Sam Curran was the star for England as he collected three crucial wickets at an excellent economy rate. Ben Stokes then anchored the chase to take the England Team to the title. For Pakistan, though, despite reaching the finals, they will have a few problems to address. The openers have been inconsistent and the batting unit might need a change. At the same time, they would also need the bowlers to be more consistent, especially in the death overs.
Shami replies to Akhtar
After India lost to England in the semis, a lot of Pakistan fans, including the former cricketers trolled the men in blue. Considering they themselves had lost to India just a few weeks ago, it was uncalled for by the Pakistanis.
Current Indian cricketers hardly are part of any controversial social media activity. However, Mohammed Shami delivered a troll on Shoaib Akhtar after the latter’s team lost in the finals. Here is what the Indian speedster had to say:
It’s call karma 💔💔💔 https://t.co/DpaIliRYkd
