Ever since making his debut for the England cricket team, Harry Brook has constantly made waves with the bat. The right-handed batsman has led the batting attack by example for the Three Lions, especially in Test cricket.
While he is yet to produce a spark in the other two formats of his international career, he has thoroughly enjoyed playing in Test cricket. In the six Tests that he has played so far, Harry Brook scored 807 runs at a staggering batting average of 100.88.
Notably, he has slammed four centuries and three half-centuries to his name in the longest format of the game. If he keeps continuing like this, he is certain to create several milestones in the games to come.
Harry Brook possesses incredible stats from 9 innings in Tests
During the second Test match between New Zealand and England, Harry Brook etched his name into the record books after he became the first-ever cricketer to score 800 or more runs in the first nine Test innings.
Earlier, former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli scored 798 runs in the first nine Test innings, a record which remained intact for three decades before it was eventually broken by Harry Brook.
The England international achieved the feat during the second Test against England where he scored an unbeaten 184 runs as England ended Day 1 with 315/3.
Brook composed his innings with the help of 24 boundaries and 5 hits over the fence at a strike rate of 108.88. Moreover, he has made his batting look so easy by scoring runs at a rapid pace.
It is worth mentioning that Harry Brook has a staggering batting average of 100.75. On the other side of the coin, he has maintained quite a scintillating strike rate of 100.12 strike rate from 9 innings in the longest format of the game.
Harry Brook will resume his innings tomorrow and will hope to score his maiden double-century as he is only 16 runs away from achieving the feat.
This man is a genius. Cant wait to see him bat against India https://t.co/4bBAXisO9e

But surprisingly his First Class average after 61 matches is 39.5. He is no Bradman as otherwise he should average in 90s in both Test and FC. Possible flash in the pan?
