Rohit Sharma was the first to achieve this feat when he was playing for Deccan Chargers (now-defunct) franchise. In IPL 2009 season, Rohit Sharma scored 362 runs and took 11 wickets to his name.

Notably, Deccan Chargers went on to win the title by beating Royal Challengers Bangalore in the final. On the other hand, Hardik Pandya achieved this feat in IPL 2019 season. Thus he became the only Indian all-rounder to score 400+ runs and take 10+ wickets to his name.
