After 28 years, Team India made a bid for the second World Cup title and they even succeeded in winning the second World Cup title under the captaincy of MS Dhoni in the 2011 edition.
Team India defeated Sri Lanka in the final to win the prestigious trophy. Since then, they failed to make a bid for the third World Cup title and it remains to be seen what the future holds in store for Team India. They do have plenty of firepower and ammunition in their arsenal to give it their best shot to win the third title.
