Pakistan Cricket Board headed by Najam Sethi recently took charge as the chairman after the board sacked Ramiz Raja from the chairman’s post. Besides that, the board also went on to sack Muhammad Wasim-led selection panel.

The board decided to sack them after the team’s dismal performance in the longest format of the game. The fact that they were not able to churn out even a single win in the previous calendar year forced the board to make stringent decisions.
