Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela has said sorry for Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant over the interview controversy between the two, which has been hogging the headlines over the past few weeks. They both have engaged in several banters on social media.
Urvashi and Pant were engaged in an online tussle last month after the Bollywood actress in an interview revealed that the keeper batter had waited in the lobby to meet her and then called her 15-16 times.
The southpaw then lashed out at her by saying that he was surprised to see how people lie in interviews and are thirsty for fame and name. Replying to this Urvashi on Facebook said that Pant should focus on cricket as she’s doesn’t need fame and name.
However, now Urvashi has put end to the controversy. In an interview with Instant Bollywood, she was asked about Rishabh Pant. She responded by apologizing to him and said.
“Seedhi baat no bakwaas, so I am not doing any bakwaas (Straight talk no nonsense). All I want to say is that, nothing… ‘sorry, I am sorry.” She said.

Although Pant has proved his mettle in Tests and ODIs, he hasn’t quite set the stage on fire in the T20Is. However, he can prove out to be the X-factor for India in the World Cup. All he needs to do is to play sensible cricket and back himself.
