Rajasthan Royals are locking horns with Lucknow Super Giants in the 26th match of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. The match is currently being held at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Rajasthan Royals’ captain, Sanju Samson won the toss and invited Lucknow Super Giants to bat first. The second-placed team in the league stage points table didn’t really make the most use of the conditions.
The batters literally struggled to score runs at a rapid pace, courtesy of the disciplinary bowling performance by the Rajasthan Royals’ bowlers. Trent Boult set the tone for Rajasthan Royals by bowling a maiden over in the first over.
KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants could post 154 for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted quota of 20 overs. Kyle Mayers succeeded in scoring a super half-century. He scored 51 off 42 balls including four boundaries and three hits over the fence.
On the other hand, Ravichandran Ashwin registered 2/23 in his quota of four overs. On the other hand, Trent Boult registered 1/16 in his quota of four overs.
