Australia’s young all-rounder Cameron Green is currently part of the ongoing first Test match against the West Indies cricket team. The youngster is expected to make his presence count in the Test series opener.
Cameron Green who plays for Western Australia and Perth Scorchers as an all-rounder made his international debut for the national cricket team in December 2020 and since then, he made a real case for himself, showcasing his all-round abilities.
Since then, he has been part of the Australian cricket set-up across all three formats of the game. So far, he has played 15 Tests, 13 ODIs and 8 Twenty20 Internationals for the national cricket team.
He averages 36.15 in Tests, scoring 723 runs to his name including five half-centuries. On the contrary, he has scored 290 runs in One-Day Internationals at an average of 58 including one half-century.

Meanwhile, former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting made the headlines after he said he is very much interested in having an IPL conversation with Australia’s young all-rounder Cameron Green.
As an all-rounder, Cameron Green has been picking up lessons on the go and improving well. He is considered the next big thing in Australian cricket because of his all-round potential.
He is one of the names who is expected to fetch a massive price in the upcoming IPL 2023 mini-auction in Kochi on December 23. All ten IPL franchises have been constantly keeping a tab on the all-rounder’s performances.
It remains to be seen which team would splash the cash to rope in the all-rounder for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. For sure, the two-time ODI World Cup-winning skipper would be sharing something very important with all-rounder Cameron Green.
