Gujarat Titans are locking horns with Delhi Capitals in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. The game is currently being held at the world’s largest cricket stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Delhi Capitals’ skipper David Warner won the toss and opened the face of the blade first. However, the Delhi-based franchise failed to show any sign of intent with the bat.

They lacked stability and control over the game and ended up losing wickets like a pack of cards. Mohammed Shami was the wrecker-in-chief as he bowled unbelievable bowling spell against Delhi Capitals.

The right-arm fast bowler stuck to his bowling variations of good line and length. It did reap him much-needed rewards as the game progressed. The DC batters literally found it tough to crack the code.

Mohammed Shami simply ran through DC’s batting unit and took wickets when it mattered the most. In fact, the experienced campaigner dismissed Philip Salt, Priyam Garg, Rilee Rossouw and Manish Pandey for cheap scores.

Shami bowled his full quota of four overs and inflicted quite a lot of damage on Delhi Capitals. In the end, Shami registered four wickets in four overs, giving away only 11 runs.

Delhi Capitals might have run through a batting collapse but they largely benefitted from the services of Aman Hakim Khan who scored 51 off 44 balls who smashed three fours and three sixes to his name. In the end, DC posted 130/8 in their quota of 20 overs.
