The veteran cricketer retired from the longest format of the game in order to prolong his white-ball career. The 38-year-old has a couple of years of international cricket left in him and will be looking forward to making a national comeback.
As of now, he is heavily involved in T20 leagues all across the world. He will be leading Royal Challengers Bangalore in the sixteenth edition of the Indian Premier League. Besides that, he is all set to skipper Joburg Super Kings in the inaugural edition of the SA20.
Faf du Plessis names three players who would make it to his all-time XI
Meanwhile, the former Proteas captain has now named three players who would make it to his all-time XI. The experienced campaigner has played alongside some of the top-quality players (international and domestic).
Since he shared the dressing room with some of the finest cricketers, he literally knows a thing or two about the best ones. During ESPNcricinfo’s special segment titled ’25 questions,’ Faf du Plessis was asked to name only three players who would actually make it to his all-time XI.
The South African international who played alongside many top players across the world took time to pick the three names and they are none other than Rashid Khan, AB de Villiers and Lasith Malinga.
Rashid Khan is quite busy playing in many T20 leagues across the world whereas the likes of AB de Villiers and Lasith Malinga retired from professional cricket.
