The ultimate success of Gujarat Titans is the fact that the players operated as a collective force and turned up against the teams when it mattered the most. This is precisely the reason why they are on top of the points table.

Gujarat Titans have been in surreal form this season. Having played 13 games so far, they have won nine games and lost only four games, collecting 18 points in the league stage so far.

Gujarat Titans locked horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 62nd match of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. The game took place at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Gujarat Titans beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 34 runs

Batting first, the defending champions posted a challenging total of 188/9 in their quota of 20 overs. Gujarat Titans largely benefitted from the services of Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan.

Shubman Gill scored an unbeaten 101 off 58 balls including 13 fours and a six. On the other hand, Sai Sudharsan scored 47 off 36 balls with the help of six fours and a six.

On the contrary, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the pick of the bowlers for Sunrisers Hyderabad. The right-arm fast bowler used all his experience to better effect and took 5/30 in four overs. Sunrisers didn’t have enough ammunition in their arsenal to ace the run-chase. GT got the better of SRH by 34 runs.
