India’s Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara has been a tremendous servant for India in the longest format of the game. The Rajkot-born cricketer has represented Team India in 98 Tests and 5 ODIs.

The experienced campaigner is actively playing red-ball cricket for India. He scored 7014 runs at a terrific batting average of 44.4. Overall, he has slammed as many as 19 centuries and 34 fifties to his credit.

Notably, he has struck as many as three double centuries to his name, registering his personal best score of 206. Pujara was last seen playing the Test series against the Bangladesh cricket team.

He scored 90 and 110 in the first and second innings of the first Test at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram. Pujara will be looking forward to doing well in the upcoming Border Gavaskar Trophy series against the Australian cricket team.

Meanwhile, the 34-year-old has named Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane and Murali Vijay as his favourite batting partners in Test cricket. Notably, Pujara has had terrific and memorable partnerships with the aforementioned players.

It is worth mentioning here that Pujara and Kohli enjoyed batting together in Test cricket. The duo constructed 3437 runs in 77 innings at an average of 45.82. The highest partnership between Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli is 226.

On the hand, Pujara also enjoyed batting alongside Murali Vijay in Test cricket. Cheteshwar Pujara and Murali Vijay added 2813 runs together at an average of 62.51 in 45 matches.

Notably, Pujara and Vijay were involved in one of the highest partnerships for India in Test cricket. The duo constructed a 370-run partnership. Meanwhile, Team India will be relying on Pujara to deliver the goods for India in the four-match Test series against the Australian cricket team.
