Team India will play the two-match Test series against the Bangladesh national cricket team after the end of the ODI series. The first two games of the ODI series came to a close recently, with the hosts winning both games.

Bangladesh defeated Team India by 1 wicket at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka and took a 1-0 lead in the series before going to showcase their fortitude and temperament in the second ODI at the same venue.

Team India had a chance to go for the win but the Tigers were clinically better in clutch moments of the game. As a result, they won the game by five runs and clinched the series by 2-0, with one more game to go.

It will be quite interesting to see how the Indians would approach the dead rubber because the likes of Rohit Sharma, Kuldeep Yadav and Deepak Chahar are ruled out of the third ODI due to injuries. The final ODI will be played on December 10 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.

Mukesh Kumar or Umran Malik likely to replace Mohammed Shami in the Test series against Bangladesh

The upcoming Test series is going to be very crucial for India because they will be aiming to qualify for the ICC World Test Championship Final. Currently, India are sitting in fourth place in the WTC points table.

Rohit Sharma and Co have won six games, lost four games and played out for a draw on two occasions and have accumulated 75 points. Meanwhile, in the latest development, it has been learnt that Mukesh Kumar or Umran Malik are likely to replace Mohammed Shami in the Test series against Bangladesh, as per PTI.

Recently, veteran Indian paceman Mohammed Shami was ruled out of the ODI series against Bangladesh owing to a hand injury. It seems that he hasn’t completely recovered yet.
