
India’s regular skipper Rohit Sharma and former Indian skipper Virat Kohli have been rested for the tour of New Zealand which is still going on. The three-match T20I series came to a close in Napier recently.
The Men in Blue won the series by 1-0 under the astute captaincy of Hardik Pandya as India beat Black Caps by 65 runs to take a lead in the series. With the first game getting abandoned due to rain and the third game ending in a tie due to rain, India clinched the series.
With the T20I series coming to a close, the players are gearing up for the ODI assignment, which will start on November 25 (Friday) at Eden Park in Auckland. Shikhar Dhawan will lead the team for this particular series.
Timing for India’s tour of Bangladesh has been unveiled
On the other hand, the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma will be back for India’s tour of Bangladesh which will go all guns blazing in December as the month is tightly packed with the Test and ODI assignment.
India will lock horns with Bangladesh in the three-match ODI series followed by the two-match Test series. The series starts with the ODI series, with the opening fixture scheduled to be played on December 4 at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka.
The tour comes to an end with the second and final Test match on December 26. Meanwhile, the timing for India’s tour of Bangladesh has been unveiled. The ODI fixtures will start on 11:30 AM (IST) whereas the Test matches begin from 9 AM (IST) onwards.
