Mohammed Shami comes up with a reply to Axar Patel’s remark
Meanwhile, Team India’s experienced faster bowler Mohammed Shami is in the news after he chipped in with an epic response to Axar Patel’s remark. It all started when Shami and Axar were involved in a friendly interaction soon after the Nagpur Test came to a close.
During the conversation, paceman Mohammed Shami was inquired about his batting exploits against Australia in the Nagpur Test match. Shami played a fearless brand of cricket in the first innings of the first Test against the Aussies.
The veteran added valuable runs to the team’s scoreboard as he scored 37 off 47 balls with the help of two fours and three hits over the fence. Shami was en route to scoring a fifty but was dismissed by Todd Murphy.
Meanwhile, Axar Patel tried to pitch in with advice to the senior cricketer. The bowling all-rounder kept telling Shami to play slowly but Shami kept hitting sixes.
To which, Shami hilariously replied that his ego was getting hurt. He further added that his mindset was to stick around Axar for as long as possible. Shami also said that he will try to do the same in the future as well.
