Chennai Super Kings are the second-most successful franchise in the history of India’s premier T20 tournament. Popularly known as the “yellow army”, CSK have won four titles since its inception.

During the last season, things did get messed up to a massive extent as they not only failed to qualify for the playoffs but also ended up in ninth place in the IPL 2022 group stage points table.

The four-time IPL champions have tweaked their squads ahead of the upcoming mini IPL 2023 auction which will be held in Kochi on December 23. They retained some players but at the same time released top cricketers as well.

It remains to be seen how the yellow brigade would approach the sixteenth edition of the IPL. MS Dhoni will be leading the team from the front and the cricketing brain would give it all to guide CSK to another title.
