India’s bowling line-up is one thing that often made the headlines for all the right or wrong reasons these days. Whenever, they fail to take wickets in powerplay overs or in the death overs, they come under fire for their performances.
On the other side of the coin, India’s batting collapse happens once in a blue moon unlike the team’s terrible bowling performance that is observed every now and then.
During the Twenty20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, Indian bowlers failed to show a lot of intent in the semi-final against England cricket team where the bowlers looked completely clueless as they didn’t take even a single wicket.
India were battered and bruised at the hands of Jos Buttler and Co who won the game by 10 wickets. Meanwhile, India are currently in New Zealand for the ODI series, with the series decider slated to be played on November 30, Wednesday in Christchurch.
Umran Malik bowls 155 kmph and makes things easy for me: Arshdeep Singh
Case in point, Arshdeep Singh is one of the very few bowlers who made an instant impact with the ball ever since he made an entry into the Indian cricket team. The left-arm medium-fast pacer has already shown great signs of maturity.
He also showed that he is a quick learner of the game, a unique trait of his, which is worth applauding. On the other side of the coin, India’s fast bowler Umran Malik who impressed the fans with his sheer pace made his ODI debut against New Zealand at Eden Park in Auckland.
The right-arm paceman troubled the Black Caps with subtle bowling variations of good line and length. Arshdeep Singh reserved the highest respect for his teammate Umran Malik for his bowling credentials.
While speaking to The Indian Express, Arshdeep Singh echoed that Umran Malik bowls at 155 kmph and makes things quite easier for him. He also added that both the pacers are loving the partnership and Arshdeep hopes that the liaison continues for a long time.
