Mumbai Indians are having a tough time in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. The five-time champions have lost six matches in a row. The MI team management would have expected a better show from their bowlers who have been inconsistent in IPL 2022. One of the most experienced names present in MI’s bowling unit this year is Tymal Mills.
The England-based left-arm fast bowler is injury-prone, and a Twitter user shared a report earlier today on the micro-blogging platform claiming that Tymal Mills had picked up an injury and was reportedly ruled out of IPL 2022.
He shared the report soon after journalists claimed that Dhawal Kulkarni was set to join the Mumbai Indians team. However, Mills clarified that he is not injured. Here’s what he wrote on Twitter, while replying to that Twitter user:
“I have no idea who you are or where you get this information from, but you are wrong. I am perfectly fine. Please remove this post.”
Both the original tweet and Mills’ reply have been deleted. Here’s a screenshot of the reply:

Tymal Mills has picked up 6 wickets in 5 matches for the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2022
Mumbai Indians would have expected a much better show from Mills in IPL 2022. The left-arm fast bowler has only managed six wickets in five games at an expensive economy rate of 11.18 runs per over. He was dropped for one of the matches of the Mumbai Indians team in IPL 2022.
He made a comeback to the playing XI in the last match but could not make a significant contribution. With the likes of Riley Meredith and Arjun Tendulkar warming the benches, it should not be a surprise if Mills loses his place in the playing XI for the upcoming match between the Mumbai Indians and the Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2022.
