The ongoing final of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) is currently taking place between India and Australia at the Oval, England. India skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to field first. His decision didn’t pay off as Australia dominated on the first day with the bat.

The wicket seems good for batting as Australian batters have showcased great display. The pitch isn’t expected to change too much and it is likely that Indian batters too can have a good outing and can give Australia a taste of their own medicine.

With 4 sessions already being done and India yet to bat, it’s fair to say that the game can head towards the draw as well. Although the chances of the game getting tied are less in English conditions but we cannot rule out all three results until the game is done.

However, if the game ends up getting drawn, one question that has been on the minds of everyone is who will be the winner? In the case, if the match ends up getting tied, both India and Australia will be declared as the joint winners and will share the trophy.

On the other hand, if we don’t get desired time and overs in the five 5 days due to weather, then reserve day will come into play. The additional day will then be used to get the result.
