The first match of the Road Safety World Series 2022 took place yesterday between the legends of South Africa (RSA) and India. During the first match of the RSWS 2022, several past cricket greats, such as Sachin Tendulkar, Makhaya Ntini, Yuvi, Jonty Rhodes, and Suresh Raina, took part in the competition.

Stuart Binny’s innings of 82 off 42 runs contributed to India Legends posting 217 on the board, and the reaction from RSA Legends, which was not very good, came as no surprise. They were only able to score 156 for 9 off of their 20 overs, which resulted in a loss of 61 runs for the team.

Little Master and Naman Ojha were the first two batters to come to the crease for the India Legends, and they contributed to a stand that was worth 46 runs. In particular, everyone was excited to see Sachin bat. Tendulkar was unable to put up a large score, but he did manage to remind the fans of the good old days by hitting a brilliant on-drive on the second ball of the fourth over.

After Sachin Tendulkar was out, having batted for an individual score of 15, another legend from India’s cricketing history, Suresh Raina, stepped onto the field to bat. In a manner quite similar to that of Master Blaster, Raina hit his characteristic shot in the game to evoke feelings of melancholy and longing in the hearts of the spectators. The video of the southpaw playing an inside-out shot to get off the mark can be seen further down on this page.

In addition to Sachin Tendulkar and Suresh Raina, other former Indian cricketers such as Yusuf Pathan, Yuvraj Singh, and Munaf Patel graced the pitch during the match. In India, viewers may see the Road Safety World Series (RSWS) 2022 on Colors CinePlex, Sports 18, and Colors CinePlex Superhits.
