India and South Africa are currently locking in the three-match T20I series. The series begin in Thiruvananthapuram on 28th September and it saw the hosts outshining the visitors in all the departments.

Thanks to that superlative effort, India has taken a 1-0 lead in the series and their next target would be to seal the series in the second game itself. The second match is slated to take place on Sunday (2nd October) at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati.

Both The Rohit Sharma-led side and the Proteas have reached Guwahati ahead of the second game. On their arrival, teams were at the receiving end of the warm welcome by their hotel staff.

They were welcomed by the Bihu dance and also were presented with shawls by the staff. Ahead of their departure, the Indian team was also given a heartfelt send-off as Deepak Chahar and Arshdeep Singh, who shined in the first T20I, were made to cut the cake. Probable Indian and South African XI for the second T20I in Guwahati

The second T20I between India and South Africa will hold extreme importance for both teams. India would want to clinch the series so that they can try out a few experiments in the last and head into the World Cup with confidence.

On the other hand, South Africa would be eager to come out all guns blazing and save the series. They are expected to play hard and test the Indian team.
