The game between Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings that took place in yesterday’s afternoon fixture didn’t see the result as the rain played spoilsport during the passage of play.
The persistent rains wouldn’t stop and as a result, the game was called off, with both teams sharing a point apiece. Lucknow Super Giants posted 125/7 in 19.2 overs before the covers were brought in.

It gave us goosebumps as the Lucknow crowd including CSK and LSG fans sang the patriotic song. The video clip of the same has gone viral on the internet.

Lucknow Super Giants batters failed to produce a spark in the game as they ended up scoring 125/7 in 19.2 overs before the rain played spoilsport in the game. On the other hand, the likes of Maheesh Theekshana, Matheesha Pathirana and Moeen Ali took two wickets apiece for CSK.
