Wasim Jaffer has posted a hilarious tweet taking a bit of a funny jibe at ICC and also cheering up the Indian fans who are a bit disappointed about India not having won an ICC event for the last 8 years, with the last one being the Champions Trophy 2013.

Yesterday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced that there would be an ICC event every year for the next 10 years. There are already a couple of ICC events scheduled for 2022 and 2023, which are the T20 World Cup in Australia and the ODI World Cup in India and now there are going to be 8 more from 2024 to 2031.

After ICC’s announcement yesterday, Wasim Jaffer posted a meme where he slightly edited a Bollywood movie dialogue and told the Indian fans they shouldn’t be worried if one ICC event has gone by and they haven’t won it because just like a bus or a train goes by and another one comes along, it’s similar with the ICC events as well, one goes and another comes next year.

Wasim Jaffer got some interesting memes in response to his tweet

In response to Wasim Jaffer’s tweet, people came up with some more interesting memes of their own. One Twitter user, with a scene of another Bollywood movie, tried to suggest that India’s new T20I captain Rohit Sharma, who might take over in the other formats as well in future, would be able to guide India to victory in all the ICC events they failed to win in the last few years.

Wasim Jaffer keeps posting such analogy memes from time to time where he links cricketing situations to various scenes of the Bollywood movies and tries to showcase the lighter side of the cricketing situations, which Twitter users enjoy a lot. During the IPL 2021, Jaffer posted funny memes even on Punjab Kings, a team where he himself works as an assistant coach.
