Virat Kohli bows down to Suryakumar Yadav after his knock against Hong Kong
The match between India and Hong Kong had Suryakumar Yadav written all over it. The right-hander played a staggering knock of unbeaten 68 runs in just 26 balls and helped his side post a mammoth total of 192 runs, which at one moment seemed impossible.
After the Indian openers struggled to get going, the team needed a much more important momentum to shift the gears and Suryakumar did exactly that. He smacked Hong Kong bowlers right from ball 1 and smashed the ball all over the park.
Suryakumar batted with a strike rate of 261.4 and smashed 6 fours and 6 sixes in his innings. He also stitched a crucial 98* runs partnership with Virat Kohli, who scored 59, as India posted a total of 192 runs on the board.
One of the main highlights of his innings was when he smashed 26 runs in the final over. Suryakumar smashed 4 sixes in that over and made almost everyone in the stadium stand and applaud him.
However, what caught the attention of many was when he was walking back to the dressing room, Kohli stood there for him in the middle and bowed down to him.
