RCB and their latest signings: With the advent of social media and the world taken by a storm of seriousness all around, a tad bit of humour doesn’t hurt at all.
As Royal Challengers Bangalore made some important announcements yesterday, Twitter came up with its own brand of humour.
If not humourous but a Twitter user pointed a few trivial things that surrounded the signing of Wanindu Hasaranga, which would make you smile.
The post read that Hasaranga dons jersey number 49 for Sri Lanka. His best bowling figures for the national team are 4 for 9. Now the connection mapped by the user to RCB is with their lowest score in IPL and that was 49.

RCB’s remainder of the journey
Royal Challengers Bangalore went for a major overhaul for the remainder of the tournament as they roped in the services of Wanindu Hasaranga and Dusmantha Chameera, who replaced Adam Zampa and Daniel Sams respectively.
They also onboarded Tim David, a Singapore-Australian all-rounder who has managed to get himself significant fame with the advent of franchise tournaments.
Bangalore is currently stationed in the third spot of the table with five victories from seven matches. They are level in points with second-placed Chennai Super Kings, however, the latter’s superior run rate has them leading the race.
Bangalore lost their last game to Punjab Kings as Harpreet Brar packed a powerful punch, stunning the Challengers.
Hasaranga pulled off a phenomenal showdown against India, which eventually SL had won the T20i series, that spurred the hopes of the franchises ahead of the remainder of the tournament.
Bangalore will be resuming their campaign with the clash against Kolkata Knight Riders on 20th at Abu Dhabi. The last time these two teams clashed, Siraj pulled off an extraordinary 19th over to deny Kolkata a last-minute drama.
