As the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 heats up, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) find themselves facing a critical match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). With only a few games left before the playoffs, RCB will need to make some bold decisions if they hope to stay in contention for the title.

One of the most crucial decisions that RCB should make for the next game against KKR is to change their batting order. RCB’s top order with the likes of Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell have been firing. However, the middle order has failed to add to the starts that they have produced. hence, RCB has lost a few games as well.

In the match against the Rajasthan Royals, the middle order failed yet again after the innings from du Plessis and Maxwell. One change that RCB can try against the Kolkata Knight Riders in the next game is to drop Dinesh Karthik and play Finn Allen. Karthik hasn’t been firing and providing the finishing touches in this year’s IPL. They can adjust the foreigner slot in the other areas and try to include Finn Allen in the playing XI.

Finn Allen can open the inning and provide an explosive start. Virat Kohli can come one down, with Maxwell coming two down. This will lengthen the batting line-up for Royal Challengers Bangalore. In conclusion, RCB will need to make some bold decisions if they hope to beat KKR in the next game. It remains to be seen whether RCB will make this change, but one thing is for sure – the team will need to be at their very best if they hope to stay in the race for the IPL title.
