ICC tournaments are the toughest ones to perform for any cricketer. The best teams from across the world participate in ICC tournaments. Since so many fans keep an eye on the matches, the players are under immense pressure. Some of the big names have faltered to deliver at the grand stage, but Indian batter Virat Kohli has dominated the big events.
A Twitter user recently shared a statistic that showed that Virat Kohli is the only batter in cricket history to have a batting average of more than 100 in three different ICC tournaments. There are 27 players who had a batting average of more than 100 in one ICC tournament, while Kohli is the only player to have that average in more than one competition.
In the ICC T20 World Cup 2014, Virat Kohli scored 319 runs in six matches at a stupendous batting average of 106.33. He scored four half-centuries in that mega event and remained unbeaten on three occasions.
