England national cricket team are currently in Pakistan gearing up for the upcoming three-match competitive Test series. The Test series opener is just a few days away from going all guns blazing. 

The first Test is scheduled to be held on December 1 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi. It will be quite interesting to see which team gets the better of the other in the opening fixture.

Pakistan cricket team will be looking forward to the Test challenge against England. Earlier, Babar Azam and Co were handed a painful defeat by England in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 final in Melbourne.

Currently, Pakistan cricket team are sixth on the ICC Men’s Test Team Rankings with 2111 points and a rating of 92. On the other side of the coin, England cricket team are fourth on the rankings with 4449 points and a rating of 103.

Ben Stokes comes up with a good gesture for Pakistan before the Test series

England’s all-rounder Ben Stokes will forever grace the moment of hitting the winning run against Pakistan in the ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup 2022 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) recently.

Meanwhile, he is currently in Pakistan along with his teammates preparing for the Test series. He will be leading the Test cricket team from the front alongside England’s Test head coach Brendon McCullum.

The England Test skipper came up with an incredible gesture for Pakistan ahead of the start of the Test series. For the first time in 17 years, England players are touring the Asian nation.

Stokes added that it is absolutely great and exciting to be here in Pakistan for the historic Test series. He further added that the floods that shattered Pakistan earlier in 2022 was literally was extremely sad to see.

Stokes also added that floods had a significant impact on the country and the citizens. He further added that the game has given him quite a lot in his life. He said he will be donating his match fees from the upcoming Test series to the Pakistan Flood appeal.
