Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are one of the top teams in the history of the Indian Premier League. They have been unpredictable at times, beating the tough sides with ease.

However, at the same time, they have been skittled out for cheap scores but that doesn’t take away their fighting spirit. Moreover, RCB are the only team that hasn’t won any title despite making it to the finals on three occasions.

Faf du Plessis took charge as the captain of RCB in the last season. Under his captaincy, RCB did pretty well as a team, finishing fourth in the IPL 2022 points table. They successfully qualified for the playoffs.

Notably, they also went on to knock Lucknow Super Giants out of the competition in the Eliminator clash. However, Royal Challengers Bangalore surrendered at the hands of Rajasthan Royals in the second qualifier.

They will begin their IPL 2023 campaign on April 2 as they will lock horns with Mumbai Indians at their fortress, M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB will be looking to make a serious bid for the title in the next season.
