Former Kolkata Knight Riders captain Gautam Gambhir recently named Rohit Sharma as the only batter and captain who gave him sleepless nights and headaches as a skipper. Gambhir led the Kolkata-based franchise from 2011 to 2017 before returning to the Delhi Capitals.

The left-handed batter had a very successful stint as the KKR captain. He guided the franchise to their first two IPL championships in 2012 and 2014. Many fans reckon him as one of the best captains in the Indian Premier League history.

“Rohit Sharma is the only batsman who has given me sleepless nights and Rohit Sharma is the only captain who has given headaches to me in my career.”
