MI vs PBKS 2023: On Saturday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Arjun Tendulkar of the Mumbai Indians recorded the joint-most costly over in IPL 2023.
Arjun’s third over of the evening came in the 16th, as he let up a staggering 31 runs to Sam Curran and Harpreet Bhatia.
Curran smashed two length balls from Arjun, the MI bowler who took the opening wicket with a devastating yorker when MI elected to bowl first, for six and four, respectively. Bhatia faced the young left-armer and hit him for two fours and a six, plus another four off a no-ball as the scoreboard read 31 runs in an over.

Arjun has bowled the most costly over of the season, tying Gujarat Titans seamer Yash Dayal for the dubious honour. Dayal, also a left-arm pace bowler, let Rinku Singh hit five sixes in a row during the game’s final over when the Kolkata Knight Riders needed 31 runs to win.
