The sixteenth edition of the cash-rich Indian Premier League just started very recently and meanwhile, some players of the respective franchises are getting ruled out of the tournament owing to untimely injuries.

As a result, the franchises have been preparing for Plan B and which is signing the right players as replacements. Meanwhile, in the latest development, Reece Topley has been ruled out of the entire edition of the IPL.

RCB’s coach, Sanjay Bangar confirmed that Reece Topley will no longer play his part for the franchise for the remainder of the season, which is a big blow to Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Reece Topley ruled out of IPL 2023

England cricket team’s quick Reece Topley sustained a shoulder injury during the team’s first game against Mumbai Indians at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

After sustaining the untimely injury, he played no further part in the game. However, he travelled with the RCB team to Eden Gardens, Kolkata. During the ongoing game between KKR and RCB, Sanjay Bangar had a chat from the dugout with the commentators on-air.

During the conversation, he confirmed that Reece Topley is ruled out of the IPL 2023. “Reece Topley is out of the tournament,” confirmed Sanjay Bangar.

RCB’s head coach further revealed that Sri Lankan star leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga will be arriving on April 10 from New Zealand whereas Australian paceman Josh Hazlewood is expected to be back in the RCB camp on April 14.
