Among the teams, Mumbai Indians are the most successful team with five IPL titles whereas Chennai Super Kings come next on the list with four IPL titles. On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders are the third-most successful team with two titles.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, Gujarat Titans and Deccan Chargers (now defunct franchise) have won a title apiece. Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans were newly inducted into the cash-rich IPL in the previous edition of the IPL.

Gujarat Titans announced their arrival in style by beating Rajasthan Royals in the final and won their maiden IPL title in their debut season.

Sara Ali Khan picks Mumbai Indians as her favourite IPL team

Sara Ali Khan is an Indian actress who primarily works in the Bollywood film industry. She made her acting debut in 2018 with the film Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.

She drew plaudits for her exceptional performance in the movie. Later on, she went on to star in the 2018 film “Simmba” opposite Ranveer Singh, in what turned out to be a commercial success.

It is quite common for celebrities to root for their favourite IPL teams. Rashmika Mandanna’s favourite IPL team is Royal Challengers Bangalore. Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan made the headlines after she picked Mumbai Indians as her favourite IPL team.

Mumbai Indians have won five IPL teams under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. Currently, they are seventh on the IPL 2023 points table. Having played eight games so far, they have won four games and lost four games in the ongoing season of the IPL. Mumbai Indians will take on Punjab Kings in tonight’s fixture at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali.
