Indian national cricket team recently locked horns with the Bangladesh cricket team in the three-match ODI series. However, things didn’t go well in favour of the Men in Blue as they lost the series.

Bangladesh won the first two games in a closely-fought contest. However, India got rid of a whitewash by securing a humongous win over the Tigers in the dead rubber in Chattogram.

Meanwhile, Team India are gearing up for the forthcoming two-match Test series against the Bangladesh cricket team. The first Test will go all guns blazing on December 14 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.

The second and final Test begins on December 22 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. India will be looking forward to performing well in the next two Tests in the wake of their ODI series defeat.

Meanwhile, Team India are placed fourth on the World Test Championship points table and are behind the likes of Australia, South Africa and Sri Lanka. Team India will have to win most of the Tests in order to qualify for the WTC final.

Team India will qualify for the World Test Championship final if they win five Tests from the remaining six games. They will play two Tests against Bangladesh and after which, they will play four Tests against Australia at home in March next year.

It is quite a tough task for the Indians to pull off five wins out of six games. However, they do have the tools and ingredients to accumulate the most wins in the upcoming games.

Currently, India have gained 75 points wherein they have won six games, lost four games and played out for a draw on two occasions. It will be quite interesting to see how India will approach the upcoming six games.
