Indian cricket team’s white-ball captain Rohit Sharma has urged media and fans to keep quiet on Virat Kohli’s disappointing form. Kohli has not been in the best touch over the last two years. He has not scored a single century since November 2019.

In the recently-concluded ICC Cricket World Cup Super League series between the Indian cricket team and the West Indies cricket team, Virat Kohli could not impress much with the willow. Now, all eyes will be on him during the T20I series against the West Indies cricket team.

“I think it starts from you guys. If you guys (media) can keep quiet for a while, everything will be alright. If talking from your side stops, everything will be taken care.”

Rohit Sharma has an excellent record as the Indian cricket team’s captain in white-ball cricket

Rohit Sharma has gotten off to an excellent start as the full-time ODI and T20I captain of the Indian cricket team. He led the Indian cricket team to a 3-0 series win against the New Zealand cricket team in the T20Is last year, while this year, he led the team to a 3-0 win over the West Indies cricket team in the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.

Sharma has always backed his players and that leads to a good performance from the players. He is supporting Virat Kohli in his bad phase, and it should not be a surprise if a champion player like Kohli returns to form soon and helps India win matches again.
