Rajasthan Royals star Jos Buttler has stolen the show with his consistent performances in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. The right-handed batter is the number one name on the Orange Cap leaderboard, and no other batter is even close to him in the list.
Buttler has smashed three centuries in IPL 2022. Almost every bowler has had a tough time bowling against him this year. But now Buttler has named the one bowler who troubles him the most in powerplay overs.
The first six overs are the strong point of Jos Buttler because he does not allow any bowler to settle in the middle and attacks them straightaway. However, Buttler finds it difficult to hit big against Gujarat Titans vice-captain Rashid Khan.
In a recent interview with ESPNCricinfo, Buttler named Rashid as the bowler who troubles him the most in the first six overs.
Jos Buttler is in a different Orange Cap fight: Aakash Chopra
As mentioned ahead, Buttler has a massive lead over the other batters in the IPL 2022 Orange Cap race. Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra heaped praise on him in a recent video on his YouTube channel. Here’s what Chopra had to say:
“Jos baba, how well you hit. He converted the ball into a flying saucer. He has already hit three centuries, two back to back, stop yaar. Just the Jos thing, just the boss thing. Jos is serving piping hot. Everyone else is on one side and Jos Buttler is in a different Orange Cap fight.”
