Mumbai Indians’ bowlers literally ran short of tricks and ideas to stop the duo. Livingstone and Jitesh ensured to take the scoreboard to 214 for the loss of three wickets in their quota of 20 overs.
Liam Livingstone was the pick of the batters for Punjab Kings. The right-handed batsman played a spectacular brand of cricket by chipping in with 82 off 42 balls where he hammered as many as 7 fours and 4 sixes to his name.
On the other side of the coin, Jitesh Sharma, the wicketkeeper-batsman for Punjab Kings who scored an unbeaten 49 off 27 balls including five fours and two sixes. Jofra Archer conceded 56 runs in his quota of four overs.
