Team India are crossing swords with the England national cricket team in the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup. The intriguing clash between the two cricketing giants is currently being held at Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.

It will be quite interesting to see which team uses their resources to good effect to come out on top this time around. Meanwhile, England skipper Jos Buttler won the toss and invited Team India to bat first.

On the other hand, India have come here into the semi-final with zeal and determination. They have won four games out of the five games that they played in the Super 12 of the competition.

Rohit Sharma and Co registered wins over Pakistan, Netherlands, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe respectively. As a result, they finished first on the Group 2 points table.

Yuzvendra Chahal was not selected in playing XI against England

On the other hand, England ended up as the second place in Group 1 points table with 3 wins, 1 defeat and 1 NR (No Result). Earlier, Pakistan beat New Zealand by 7 wickets and cruised into the final.

The winner between India and England will lock horns with Pakistan in the final at Melbourne Cricket Ground on November 13 (Sunday). Meanwhile, India’s veteran leg-spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal was ignored in the playing XI for the second semi-final against England.

There were reports and speculations that Yuzvendra Chahal would replace Ravichandran Ashwin in the playing XI. However, the Indian team management went with the same playing XI that they played against Zimbabwe.
