Chairperson of Mahindra and Mahindra, Anand Mahindra posted an interesting tweet after the Chennai Super Kings star MS Dhoni finished things off in style for his team in their battle against the Mumbai Indians last night in IPL 2022. Anand pointed out how they also have the letters MAHI in Mahindra.

Many members of the cricket universe would know that the nickname of MS Dhoni is ‘Mahi’. Yesterday, there was an El Clasico match in IPL 2022, where the defending champions Chennai Super Kings battled the five-time champions Mumbai Indians.

MI received an invitation to bat first from CSK captain Ravindra Jadeja. A half-century from uncapped batter Tilak Verma helped the Mumbai Indians finish with a 155-run total in their 20 overs. Mukesh Choudhary stole the show from the CSK bowling attack by picking up three wickets.

In reply, CSK got off to a shaky start as they lost the wicket of Ruturaj Gaikwad on the first ball of the innings. The match went down to the last over, where the Chennai Super Kings needed 17 runs. Jaydev Unadkat was assigned the difficult task to bowl the last six balls of the match.

Unadkat started well and took the big wicket of Dwaine Pretorius on the first ball. He allowed Dwayne Bravo only one run on the second ball. MS Dhoni came on strike when CSK needed 16 runs off the last four balls.

He whacked a shot down the ground and scored a six on the third ball. A top-edge then helped him score four runs, while Dhoni and Bravo ran two on the fifth ball. Dhoni then finished things off in style with a four on the final delivery.
